I am a Minneapolis-based, licensed counselor with expertise in providing Polyvagal informed care to women facing relationship stressors and various mental health issues.

If you:

  • find yourself questioning whether your wants and needs are reasonable

  • have a partner who is unwilling to attend therapy

  • have been told you’re “too sensitive”

  • lack clarity about healthy boundaries

  • end up in relationships where you give more than you get

  • struggle to trust yourself

  • get stuck in your own head

I can help. I offer practical tools and solutions to foster growth, confidence, and relationship satisfaction.

Individual Therapy

I provide individual therapy for women struggling with the following:

  • interpersonal connections

  • anxiety

  • depression

  • PTSD and trauma

  • life transitions/adjustment

Sessions are 55 minutes in length and can be done in-person or via telehealth (for those in MN or IL).

Polyvagal Theory Trainings & Consultation

Serving as a trusted trainer for Deb Dana’s Foundations of Polyvagal Informed Practice and other offerings, I am equipped to provide education and experiential exercises to therapists, coaches, medical professionals, and bodyworkers interested in learning the basics of Polyvagal Theory.

I also happily offer both remote and in-person individual and/or small group consultation for therapists and coaches who have attended a Polyvagal-informed training or workshop. Please email dara@daradenton.com to inquire about rates and scheduling.

Clinical Supervision

As a Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy approved supervisor, I am able to provide clinical supervision to those masters-level professionals working towards licensure. For information about rates and availability, please email dara@daradenton.com.
